We are looking for a software development manager with a strong track record of owning and delivering on large scale services. As a software development manager leading an advanced technology group, you will be a creative problem solver who is passionate about delivering the best customer experience while building and growing a healthy team of engineers. You will have excellent communication skill and can work well with world class game development teams to expand the Amazon Games app's feature set. Key responsibilities include
· Hire and develop a strong and highly effective team
· Lead an organization of engineers responsible for the development of highly-scalable, manageable, and secure technologies and tools
· Create project plans and commitments for yourself and your team, then deliver consistently against those commitments
We are building services to deliver billion dollar games to Amazon's customers. We need a smart manager to help deliver this for Amazon's first AAA titles and then imagine what more we can do with Twitch & Amazon for our players and developers. We're looking for an manager who is an enabler with operational expertise who is a force multiplier for their team. Are you up for the challenge?

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or equivalent) experience.
· 5+ years of large-scale engineering experience in a leadership capacity
· Proficiency in computer science fundamentals – data structures, algorithm and OO design
· 3+ years in a management capacity
