The Amazon Alexa team is looking for a Software Developer Manager to help build the Skill Metrics and Analytics Platform for Amazon Alexa. We are looking for a candidate with a passion for new data products, building best of breed data ingestion and storage platform and developer facing metrics solution. Candidate must exude enthusiasm for our mission, and a talent for managing the build of great products. We're working hard, having fun, and making history.

As a Software Development Manager in Alexa Skills Kit you will:
· Own development of the Skill Metric and Analytics product end-to-end.
· Provide technical direction within your team and within Alexa Skills.
· Take part in directing the product roadmap and executing short and long-term goals.
· Manage a development team focused on the Alexa Skill Metrics and Analytics.
· Drive continual improvements to the efficiency and flexibility of the metrics platform while keeping a high bar for customer trust, performance, and availability.

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

* Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
* 5+ years of experience managing software engineering teams
* 5+ years of software development experience in at least one modern programming language such as Java, Python, or C++
* 3+ years of experience managing data engineering teams
