DESCRIPTION

The Customer Contributor team is looking for a seasoned Software Development Manager who is passionate about making contributing on Amazon fun and rewarding. The Software Development Manager is someone who is excited to experiment and prove out the contributor flywheel, while helping shoppers discover new products and make more confident purchase decisions. We are looking for someone who can use both anecdotes and quantitative analysis to drive product software development.

You responsibilities will include:

- Leading, developing and scaling a team of highly talented and high-performing engineers
- Taking end-end ownership without a "that's not my job" attitude, and deliver multiple large-scale and high-impact, global projects
- Influencing an extremely high quality bar across the Community Shopping organization through a set of robust metrics, a “do it right the first time” thought leadership and a building a culture that insists on the highest standards
- Instilling development best practices, engineering excellence and efficient processes across the Community Shopping organization
- Integrating tightly with the users of our services, understanding their pain points and working with other technology teams to provide technology solutions to business problems

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline.
- Experience managing teams, building processes, project management, and release schedule.
- 5+ years of relevant engineering experience
- 3+ years of people management experience
