Role:
The Amazon Fire OS team is looking for a Software Development Manager to drive world products in multimedia space that makes a one of a kind experience today, and will enable exciting new capabilities tomorrow. The successful manager will be obsessed with delivering results, experienced and highly committed to creating world class products in multimedia space, able to develop and drive a high-level strategy, as well as take a hands-on approach to implementing that strategy.
Responsibilities include understanding how all the various parts of the Amazon software ecosystem work, developing/enhancing engineering processes that fit the overall strategy, delivering the quality software products. The successful candidate is an experienced and hands-on manager who can build a high performing dev team.

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Ability to adapt and quickly learn new concepts and technologies in a fast paced environment

· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
· 10+ years of software development experience, and at least 3 years' experience managing manager
· 2+ years of Android Multimedia product development experience
· Solid track record for delivery of high quality products
·
· Proven people management skills and experience in developing employee careers
·
· Strong project management skills, ability to track multiple executions simultaneously
