Over 2MM Sellers in 10 countries (and growing) list their products for sale on the Amazon.com Marketplace. The Marketplace organization drives the Selling on Amazon business and develops solutions that enable millions of sellers around the world to sell to more than 200MM customers (and growing). These solutions include the software platform and applications that drive demand generation, customer acquisition, seller integration, customer relationship management, business analytics, and the inventory and order management functions necessary for sellers to manage their business online at Amazon.com.

The Listings Platform teams build and operate the core platforms and services that support our sellers via interactive applications, feed processing systems, reporting frameworks and Web service APIs. Sellers use these systems to manage their products and inventory levels on Amazon websites and they are mission-critical to our sellers' businesses. The Listings Platform team mission is to provide the most innovative, scalable, and reliable systems in the world to ensure our sellers' success.
As a manager, you will be responsible for leading a team building distributed systems that rise to challenges like intelligently scaling to explosive growth and getting ahead of requirements from brand new selling businesses. Every year, we raise the bar on efficiency, features and growth and use innovation and ingenuity to meet the new standards.

Degree in computer science, engineering, math, or equivalent work experience desired.
· 5+ years Experience coaching and managing at all levels, including people management, to deliver high quality software and lead effective teams
· 3+ years' experience planning, designing, and developing software, including highly scalable systems and experience with service-oriented architecture
· 4+ years' experience managing a team in a software development organization that delivered commercial software or software-based services
· Expertise in Java, C/C++, and scripting languages.
· Proven leadership skills and teamwork skills. You have experience guiding and mentoring software development engineers
· Proven ability to work and deliver effectively in a customer-focused, cross-functional team
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
