Prime Video Direct has recently launched a self-service platform that enables independent and professional video creators to reach millions of Amazon customers globally with the same monetization options and delivery quality available to major studios – and the reception has been incredible. We are growing quickly with a global focus on helping video providers be successful on the Prime Video service. We need your passion, innovative ideas, and creativity to help continue to deliver on our ambitious goals.

We have an ambitious charter, and on this team you'll be able to get your hands on lots of technologies. Above all, you'll be leading the design and implementation of new scalable services, but you will also have the opportunity to do work on partner integration efforts, including a partner-facing portal, self-service publishing and title management, and automated publishing worldwide. These services are areas we are investing in as we continue to grow at scale to automate and simplify how partners publish their content on Prime Video. You'll get to build on top of Amazon's vast development infrastructure, including AWS as well as internal tools for setting up continuous deployment and real-time monitoring. We work closely with many video providers, internal Amazon teams, and external services.

As a member of the Prime Video team, you will spend your time as a hands-on engineer and a technical leader. You will play a key role in building software products and features from the ground up. You will use a wide range of technologies, programming languages and systems. Your responsibilities will include all aspects of software development. We're looking for passionate engineers to build the next generation global publishing platform for Prime Video partners. The team owns full stack development, starting from front end portal to backend services. We use AWS technologies for much of our tech stack, including data storage in S3, EMR for scalable Hadoop clusters, DynamoDB, etc.

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
· Product development experience in consumer-focused companies
· 2 plus years of experience as software developer, or related role
· Demonstrated Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis
· Experience developing in at least one of the following languages Java, C++/C#, Python, Scala, Ruby.
· Ability and desire to work in a diverse team
