In this role, you will be engineering the next generation of systems that are responsible for constructing movies, series, seasons, and episodes into playable content that is available to millions of customers across our ecosystem of client devices including Kindle Fire, Web, Mobile, XBox, Playstation, FireTV, AppleTV Roku. The systems you will design and build are high performance distributed systems capable of enabling the growth of Prime Video global business. Successful candidates for this position will have a background in C#/C++/Java, and ideally some knowledge of Ruby and SQL. Equally important to these specific skills is a candidate's ability to multi-task, adapt quickly to new development environments and changing business requirements, learn new systems, gain new skills, create reliable & maintainable code, and find creative, scalable solutions to often difficult problems.

The ability to communicate clearly and concisely both written and orally is a key competency as is demonstrable skill as a self-starter. Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
· Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis
· 1+ years technical experience as software developer, or related role
· Working Knowledge of design patterns
· Experience with Java, C# or C++
· Masters degree in Computer Science or equivalent
