Our team is focused on building a personalized, curated, and seamless music experience. We want to help our customers discover up-and-coming artists, while also having access to their favorite established musicians. We build systems that are distributed on a large scale, spanning our music apps, web player, and voice-forward audio engagement on mobile and Amazon Echo devices, powered by Alexa to support our customer base. Amazon Music offerings are available in countries around the world, and our applications support our mission of delivering music to customers in new and exciting ways that enhance their day-to-day lives.

A Software Design Engineer in Test (SDET) at Amazon is a developer with the primary responsibility of writing frameworks and tools to test products. It is a very unique and challenging role and provides immense opportunity to design and develop wide-reaching tools. It combines the "building" aspect of software design engineering with the "breaking" aspect of software test engineering.

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field
· 3+ year's of development experience as a Software Engineer in Test
· Experience in object oriented designing and object oriented languages such as Java, .NET, Objective C, C++, Python, Ruby
· Knowledge of QA methodology and tools
· Experience in writing testing frameworks and automation tools is preferable
