DESCRIPTION

Amazon Cognito is a new AWS service allowing developers to focus on building great app experiences without having to worry about building and managing a backend solutions to handle identity management, authorization, authentication, and federation. Amazon Cognito makes it easy to build and maintain full-fledged identity management solution in cloud in a secure, scalable manner. It also makes it trivial to manage unique end user identifiers for accessing other AWS cloud services.

If you are passionate about the security and serverless space, would love to work on technology powering some of the largest organizations in the world, you are up to the challenge of scaling the system to support billions of users, and you want to build solutions simplifying the lives of mobile developers, then we want to talk with you.
The team owns the whole solution stack from the client SDK (we currently offer SDKs for iOS, Android, and JavaScript) to the backend services, which integrate with several other AWS services. We are looking for individuals who are self-starters, can wear multiple hats and invent solutions and systems that can make the live of mobile developers easier. The team is in start-up mode and is all about innovation, thinking ‘outside the box' and having fun. No idea is too crazy.

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
· 1+ years of proven experience in developing scalable, distributed systems
· Development experience in data structures, complex algorithms, OOP, Java/C++, Linux
· Deep understanding of the web stack - HTTP, HTML5, JS, CSS3, AJAX, etc
· Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate with developers, product managers, and our customers
