If you want to develop systems from the ground up, like working with cloud based technologies (most of the AWS stack), want to work with front-line system, and have a passion for other languages then this is the job for you!

The Localization Platform team develops and maintains the tools and systems that deliver localized content to Amazon's customers in many languages around the globe. Our tools and services are used by all of Amazon's businesses, including AWS, Kindle and of course, the Amazon websites.

Developers in the Localization Platform use a variety of technologies including Java, Ruby, Perl, most of the AWS stack, JavaScript, and many in-house Amazon technologies. We work in a fun, fast-paced environment that allows the opportunity to work on all aspects of an application (backend, service, front end). This role also offers the opportunity for project management, leadership, and architecture design and implementation.

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Computer Science or Computer Engineering degree (or related technical discipline)
· Proficiency in Java or C++, and Object-oriented Design skills
