Our systems and algorithms operate on one of the world's largest product catalog. We routinely process massive datasets with latency requirements of milliseconds using variety of distributed technologies.

You will be building ingestion pipelines that capture the critical primary (from advertisers) and secondary (from other amazon systems) data required for ad serving. With data sizes continuing to grown beyond expectations these systems need to be able to scale linearly (or better). You will be working with Java in a web services based environment. Ideally you will have experienced in relational and NoSQL data technologies while building highly performant, scalable distributed systems. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
· Equivalent experience to a Bachelor's degree based on 3 years of work experience for every 1 year of education
· 3+ years professional experience in software development
· Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design
· Computer Science fundamentals in data structures
· Computer Science fundamentals in algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis
· Proficiency in, at least, one modern programming language such as C, C++, Java, or Perl
