Program Manager, EU Capacity Planning will interface with EU Operations, Fulfilment, Engineering and Finance teams. She/he will be a key member of the EU Supply Chain team. The role demands strong analytical and mathematical capabilities. She/he will analyze various Supply Chain data and metrics to define an optimal network capacity plan for Amazon's European Supply chain network. She/he will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to create and sustain urgency, and a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams including collaboration/communication across all levels and teams in the organization

· Ensure that EU FC network has required storage and throughput capacity to support daily operations.

· Support the capacity expansion within the existing fulfillment center and introduction of new network nodes.
·
· Initiate and support the innovations and process-improvements in this space - both business processes and the technical solutions.
·
· Lead cross functional teams to drive solutions to capacity challenges across network
·
· Carry out sensitivity analysis and create a decision model for optimal utilization of the existing capacity, considering all other business impacts.

· Contribute to the Operational Planning process.
·
· Work across the EU in a cross-functional environment, and maintain a strong communication process to ensure smooth and efficient flow of accurate information

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 4+ combined years' experience of experience in Supply Chain, Process improvements
· Strong verbal and written communication in English.
· Excellent team player and the ability to work with a wide cross-section of people in various locations
· Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
· Attention to detail and high ability for data mining.
· Excellent Microsoft Office/PC skills, including strong working knowledge of Excel and VBA
· Intermediate to advanced skills with SQL, Tableau, R, Python
