Do you like helping people and organizations innovate in order to move fast and stay secure and compliant in the cloud? AWS is seeking an experienced, self-motivated, Technical Industry Specialist who possesses the unique balance of security & compliance technical depth and strong interpersonal skills to join AWS Security. With a background in our partner community, the right candidate will understand the relationship and trust customer CSO's place in their partnerships and look to drive modernization and integration with AWS' native security tools. The successful candidate will collaborate with our security partner ecosystem to promote security & compliance solutions that enable customers with sensitive workloads to go all in AWS.

At AWS Security you will have the opportunity to help drive the growth and shape the future of emerging technologies that will have a significant impact on our partner and customer's technical strategy. Your responsibilities will include reaching out to our partner community and customers to identify unique security problems while working across our ecosystem to enable solutions that help customers address their cloud security and compliance needs. With your history of working with traditional Security ISV's you understand the trust customers have placed in their traditional security solutions and will work with both the partner and internal AWS security teams to help identify and solve security challenges in a cloud-first world. Additionally, your strong understanding of the AWS native security capabilities such as Amazon GuardDuty, Amazon Inspector, Amazon Macie and AWS Security Hub will allow you to bring together the best of both AWS native and partner solutions to help customers achieve security and compliance at scale.

The successful candidate will also possess a business background that enables them to drive an engagement at the CxO/VP level for internal and external executive briefings, as well as a security background that enables them to easily interact with customer security teams. They should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions and work across the AWS ecosystem (i.e., security, service teams, external customers, partners) to drive customer outcomes. This includes identifying unique ISV cloud use-cases and value propositions to help message those differentiators to external audiences.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
· Create and articulate compelling value propositions bringing together AWS security services and partner security solutions
· Drive Partner identification and collaboration around AWS Security Messaging and Events.
· Accelerate customer adoption of AWS services such as Amazon GuardDuty, Amazon Inspector, Amazon Macie, AWS Key Management Service, and AWS Security Hub.
· Collaborate with Amazon Partner Network and AWS Marketplace teams to drive 3rd Party collaboration around key cloud security use cases.
· Develop long-term strategic relationships with Managed Security Service partners to increase the success and adoption of joint offerings

Desired profile



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor of Science degree (BS) in Computer Science (or related field), and minimum 5 years' experience in information security, or 10 years equivalent industry experience
· 10 years or more of security-related sales or business development experience with a Security ISV or MSSP
· 5 years of more of direct field experience working with enterprise accounts
· 25% travel required
