DESCRIPTION

MULTIPLE POSITIONS AVAILABLE: Own the development, maintenance and execution of Quality Assurance test plans and test cases for Time Management Solutions for Amazon's internal HR systems to maintain high standards of quality, performance and reliability at a massive scale. Define test strategies, write test plans, tracking and updating of RTM along with documentation and review. Design and execute software tests, and monitor and improve the iterative development process improvement. Conduct tests with both web applications and back-end services, including functional API testing, integration testing, and UI functionality and usability testing. Validate end-user requirements with respect to the work flows implemented by the engineering team. Make efficient use of preexisting automation frameworks Lead work flow testing involving large-scale software and distributed systems. Act as subject matter exert in providing quick and efficient solutions relating to issues with Time and Attendance projects. Document and coordinate the deployment of manual tests for complex Kronos systems. Successfully manage resources both onshore and offshore to deliver high quality results. Provide regular, detailed status reports on project progress, including test cases executed, bugs discovered and bugs fixed. Engage with multiple internal teams such as program management, software development, and HR in order to identify improvement areas, defects, and optimizations to help create and execute seamless employee data integrations in order to meet upper level business goals. Create and improve core metrics reports to communicate key drivers and inputs to management in order to facilitate strategic decision-making.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Primary Requirements: Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electronic Engineering, or a related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or related experience as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, or related.
Alternate Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electronic Engineering, or a related field and 5 years of experience in the job offered or related experience as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, or related.
