DESCRIPTION

MULTIPLE POSITIONS AVAILABLE: Own the development, maintenance and execution of Quality Assurance (QA) test plans and test cases of web-based and/or mobile applications and desktop platforms in order to maintain high standards of quality, performance and reliability of 24/7 functionality, features and services at a massive scale. Lead the testing of large-scale software and distributed or embedded systems and drive continuous improvements to the software QA processes by using Apache, HTTP, XML, HTML, Load Balancing, DNS, Java, C#, C++, C, Shell Scripts, Python or related technologies in Linux, Unix, or related sophisticated platform or operating system in an Agile environment. Delegate work to others and report consolidated test results to the development team and management. Ensure comprehensive test coverage by engaging with the product business team to prioritize testing execution and report on test execution progress and results. Work closely with engineering team for design and specification reviews; coordinate the set-up test environments; and deployment of manual and automated frameworks, tests and tools and industry best practices for complex systems. Interact and collaborate with other members of QA to plan, create and sign-off on test plans and cases. Provide regular, detailed status reports on project progress, including test cases executed, bugs discovered and bugs fixed.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Primary Requirements: Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, or a related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or related experience as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, Quality Assurance Engineer or related.

Alternate Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, or a related field and five years of experience in the job offered or related experience as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, Quality Assurance Engineer or related.
