The Amazon Branded Connected Devices (ABCD) team is dedicated to building the next generation of IOT accessories.

We are the team that built and launched the Amazon Smart Plug and Amazon Echo Glow. Both products have been extremely successful and have glowing reviews on amazon.com.
The team owns the firmware as well as the end-to-end experience for these devices.

We are looking for QA engineers who are passionate about the customer experience and raising the bar on usability and reliability of our devices. You will have an enormous opportunity to make a large impact on the design, architecture, and implementation of cutting-edge products used every day, by millions of customers.

Quality Assurance Engineers at Amazon test cutting edge applications and products at the user level and code level, both manually and using automated tools. Our QAEs are not pure black box testers, they are able to understand software internals, debug problems using log files, and write automated tests with scripting and/or user-level automated tools. QAEs at Amazon are excellent individual contributors capable of taking up tasks from start to completion with minimal help. QAEs are responsible for understanding the domain and the product in detail and coming up with the test strategy/planning, coming up with the test cases, driving the test case sign-off processes with the stakeholders, contributing to code level Unit tests, test execution and reporting.

We're looking for QA candidates experienced on testing software on devices in functional and non-functional areas, including usability, security and performance, with a strong coding skills. QA Engineer work with multiple stakeholders across functions and geographies for ensuring the quality of sync platform across array of supported devices.
