DESCRIPTION

We are hiring a Program Manager, Ingredient Network to join our food manufacturing team that supports our prepared food operations, including Amazon Meal Kits.

As an Ingredient Network Manager you'll be responsible for our ingredient supply chain. This role requires an individual to interact closely with cross-functional teams in product development, channel development, and kitchen facility operations and will implement optimal solutions to complex operational and supply chain challenges. A successful candidate has a penchant for diving deep and using data to guide operational improvements

The primary responsibilities will include:
· Candidate must have the ability to translate complex demand/supply forecasts (inputs, outputs, rationale, gaps) to ingredient level forecasts.
· Develop relationships with external parties to understand their forecasts and demand planning requirements to meet business needs.
· Manage inventory supply buffers and allocation to shorten lead times and build resiliency into the supply chain without driving excess shrink
· Drive supplier improvement initiatives to continually lower supply chain risk
· Partner with external parties to ensure effective and optimized network-wide ingredient procurement to support business objectives.
· Create solutions to reduce and eliminate ingredient shortages to support fill rate goals
· Participate in cross-functional teams managing recipe lifecycles
· Support Product Development teams and Food Manufacturing Operations to recommend supply chain activities based on supplier partner's capabilities
· Manage and drive Ingredient Supply Chain KPIs to meet objectives.
· Candidate will be comfortable escalating issues based on impact severity

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 3 + years of experience developing long-term relationships with third partied suppliers that have resulted in high performance metrics.
· Experience working cross-functional organization environment with a proven track record of high impact business results.
· Enjoys working in an ambiguous environment
· Ability make things happen in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; strong bias for action.
· Comfortable explaining data inputs to various reporting decks; communicate key performance indicators to stakeholders
· Proven problem solving skills. Ability to structure data analysis to support business objectives.
· Previous CPG or food experience.
· Bachelor's degree, ideally in Engineering, Finance, Business or other Supply Chain/Operations or related field.
