AWS Solutions Architecture (SA) is a diverse team that partners with customers, AWS Sales and several other AWS teams to craft highly scalable, flexible and resilient cloud architectures that address customer business problems and accelerate the adoption of AWS services.

AWS' growth is driving a rapid expansion of its world-wide customer-facing team. The Americas team is in need for an experienced Program Manager to manage and create various events, customer programs, and strategic initiatives. This role requires ownership, autonomy, and an ability to deliver results. Clear communication and prioritization will be important as you partner with Sales, Solutions Architecture, Partners, and the Services team to deliver the best experience for millions of customers.

Roles and Responsibilities
· As a key member of the sales team, ensure the Solutions Architecture team has the tools to effectively position AWS solutions
· Create and maintain a communications methodology between customers, Services teams, Business Development teams, and other key stakeholders within AWS
· Manage, coach, and guide a team Program Managers to develop, execute, and fulfill programs, as well as develop new programs to meet emerging needs
· Partner with AWS Sales and Business Development teams to coordinate activities and programs that span across the AWS sales ecosystem

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Basic qualifications
· BA/BS or BBA is required
· 5+ years of relevant program management experience or other related experience
· 2-3 years of Management experience
· Experience working in a fast-paced environment similar to a high-tech start-up
· Experience with translating business activities into operational processes
