DESCRIPTION

LOCATION: Austin, TX
MULTIPLE POSITIONS AVAILABLE
1. Architect end-to-end solutions for our customers Amazon Alexa, Amazon Lex, and related AWS services
2. In partnership with the business development, solution architects and sales team, formulate and execute a strategy to drive adoption of voice enabled systems.
3. Conduct one-to-few and one-to-many training sessions to transfer knowledge to customers considering or already using Alexa.
4. Collaborate with customers to address specific data ingestion, processing, reporting and security and compliance challenges, and implement and migrate customer solutions and workloads onto AWS.
5. Provide architecture guidance to customers, lead proof-of-concept projects and conduct customer workshops.
6. Define and deliver on-site technical engagements with partners and customers including participating in pre-sales visits, understanding customer security and compliance requirements
7. Collaborate with AWS field sales, pre-sales, training and support teams to help partners and customers learn and use AWS services in key market verticals and regulated industries.
8. Assist in migration of existing applications and development of new applications using AWS services and work with engineering, support and business teams to convey partner and customer feedback as input to AWS technology roadmaps.
9. Lead the team of developers and architects on customer engagements.
10. Domestic travel required 50% of the time.

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

A Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Management, or related discipline and 5 years of experience in a related occupation.

In the alternative, employer will accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Management, or related discipline and 7 years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience in a related occupation.

Experience must include:

(1) Designing, implementing, and consulting with distributed applications

(2) Architecting, provisioning, and deploying applications to public cloud environments

(3) Database architecture

(4) Performance tuning

(5) Writing technical specifications and end-user documentation
