Amazon AWS (China) looking for talented and experienced Technical Program Manager (TPM) with strong automation, analytical, and communication skills to join Platform Business Development team. Part of the mission of Platform Business Development team is to ensure the AWS China services are fully compliance once they land in China region, resolve any obstacles if there are any and well defined/ensure the China region services launch process must be strictly follow through by the services team.

In this role you will work with stakeholders like AWS services team, business leaders, other function leaders (SOR, Legal, Operation, Finance, Compliance and InfoSec) and sometime 3rd party vendors to resolve the China AWS services landing issues and work with services team very closely to drive the success of delivery schedule in a timely manner.

You should be able to take large, complex business requirements, and break them down into manageable projects, write functional specifications, and then deliver them in a successful and timely manner. You should be equally comfortable digging into business and financial requirements as you are drilling into architecture and design with development teams. You thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment and are not fazed by ambiguity or competing priorities. You anticipate bottlenecks and are an expert at balancing business needs versus technical constraints to move projects forward quickly. Successful candidates will have a technical background, be detail driven, have excellent problem-solving abilities, and be able to communicate and influence at all levels.

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Risk/Project Management, or similar field

· Minimum 4 years in risk analysis, assessments, and remediation

· Minimum 2 years of hands on project management experience, driving technology-related projects with aggressive schedules

· Excellent project management, organizational, 3rd vendors management and technical skills

· Excellent English written and verbal communication skills, which includes excellent listening skills, concise communications, and targeting the message to specific audiences
