The Role:

The Planning Manager is responsible for all activities related to materials management from forecasts to delivery including day-to-day communication and management of OEM partners, as it relates to planning and order fulfillment. This person has a business orientation and is responsible for working within the local and remote Operations team driving planning and order fulfillment. In this role, you will:

· Drive solutions to reduce and eliminate any gaps in plans preventing meeting order schedule, including assisting in sourcing materials as required
· Schedule and host meetings with manufacturing partners in U.S. and/or globally as required, reducing and eliminating shortages
· Manage production planning
· Coordinate forecast with corporate, develop build plan and communicate to all required parties
· Verify fulfillment of build/ship
· Plan and solve any roadblocks to meeting plan
· Work with finance and other teams to monitor and report budget
· Act as the primary liaison between the OEM and team in Sunnyvale monitoring, managing and driving the OEM to assure goals/schedule is being met
· Be responsible for report generation and distribution
· Represent the planning organization in internal program meetings

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent experience
· 3+ years Planning experience in a consumer market Segment Company
· 3+ years Supply Chain management experience
· Experience with MS Office, specifically Excel
· Understanding (and practical application) of LEAN
