Job description

DESCRIPTION

Amazon.com, is currently working with an OEM supplier in China and has established an operations team in China to support new product builds, product ramp, supply availability and competitive sourcing activities.
This role will be a key interface for all activities related to order management from forecasts to delivery including day to day communication and management of the OEM partner as it relates to order fulfillment and scheduling.
a) Primary liaison between the planning and forecasting team in the US and the Contract Manufacturer in Asia monitoring, managing and driving the production schedule to ensure they meet our commit to the business.
b) Facilitate daily production meeting with Contract Manufacturer's production management and control team
c) Communicate forecast and verify fulfillment from a materials, capacity and shipment perspective
d) Work with the material execution team and the factory operations team to reduce and eliminate any barriers that would prevent meeting order schedule.
e) Responsible for report generation and distribution on daily shipment plans.
f) May represent the materials organization in internal program meetings.
g) 30% to 50% travel will be required

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

a) Minimum five years Supply Chain Planning experience in a fast moving consumer market Segment Company including a minimum of two years management of an OEM partner.
b) Good attention to detail and data analytical skill.
c) Good communication skill (written and verbal in both Mandarin and English).
d) Good at Microsoft Excel, Word.
e) Highly organized, being able to prioritize in complex, fast-paced environment.
