Do you like helping customers and partners solve tough technical problems? Do you have experience with implementing IT solutions based on Microsoft's software products? Are you familiar with IT security best practices for applications, servers, and networks? Do you want to be part of a team at Amazon Web Services (AWS) that's helping partners and customers successfully implement IT solutions?

As a Partner Solution Architect focused on Microsoft technologies within AWS you will have the opportunity to help shape and deliver on a strategy to build mind share and broaden the use of Microsoft software products and solutions on AWS across the Microsoft customer and partner base. Your broad responsibilities will include: helping partners understand how to architect and deploy Microsoft solutions on AWS, enabling partners to learn and understand key AWS architectural concepts and how they relate to Microsoft technologies, supporting AWS partners market and sell solution offerings based on Microsoft products, and helping partners and grow their AWS business.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Some travel may be required

Understanding of core IT infrastructure concepts: data centers, security, networking, storage, compute, and software applications

Knowledge of at least one of the following: Windows Server platform, Microsoft SQL Server, or .NET development

Experience with helping enterprise customers successfully deploy and operate IT solutions based on Microsoft's software products

Experience in customer facing roles
