Position: Lead Menswear Stylist
Amazon is searching for a talented and highly creative Lead Menswear Stylist with proven extensive experience within fashion ecommerce product imaging to join our EU styling team. The role will support the EU Styling Manager and focus on the setting the visual standards for all menswear catergories by providing styling direction, implementing new styling guidelines, improving styling standards and training the team with on-set techniques. The successful candidate will lead by example and be scheduled on-set daily, producing bar raising product imagery. This role represents an unequaled opportunity to remake the fashion retailing landscape for a Stylist with an exceptional eye for detail as well as a commercial mind.

· Ability to create inspirational, contemporary content while collaborating with a team
· Possesses a proven ability to direct and motivate creative teams, producing informative, elevated ecommerce imagery
· Capacity to translate briefs into inspiring creative direction
· Excellent time management skills with proven ability to work to stringent deadlines in a fast-paced environment
· Pro-active and able to show initiative and process improve to constantly raise the image quality bar and studio processes
· Rigorous knowledge of on-figure apparel styling techniques across the industry and in various product catergories, with particular attention to fit and tailoring
· Demonstrated success translating business goals by balancing quality focused imagery with productivity
This candidate starts with the customer in mind, is innovative, understanding that the creative treatment is critical in the design of an inspirational shopping experience. They will possess a high taste level and a critical eye, with well-rounded experience within men's and womenswear model imagery, still-life and video and be excited styling on-set on a daily basis. The bulk of the role will center around menswear model imagery.
This position will form part of Amazon Imaging Services which is building one of the world's best online shopping experience through photography, video, graphic design, and usability design enabling millions of customers to make more informed purchasing decisions. The chosen candidate will join the in-house Styling team within the EU Fashion Photography studio based in heart of Shorditch, London; reporting to the EU Styling Manager.

Responsibilities
· With guidance from the EU Styling Manager, ensure all products are impeccably styled to inspire the customer and elevate the overall customer experience
· Motivating on-set team to ensure the best possible images are taken to represent the product accurately, are informative to the customer whilst hitting daily shot target
· Review menswear contact sheets and manage all feedback for freelance menswear stylists
· Keep reshoots below target
· Manage the contact reviews in the EU Styling Manager's absence
· Be the lead menswear stylist on majority of editorial shoots
· Be the lead menswear stylist for menswear private brands
· Assist with the implementation and update of all studio styling guides and inspirational imagery
· Work with the Styling Assistants to ensure the menswear styling cupboard is regularly edited and the most appropriate products are available for the teams to use
· Frequently conduct competitor analysis to constantly audit our quality bar

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Menswear styling experience in commercial fashion photography
· Portfolio that demonstrates applied menswear and womenswear styling techniques
· Working knowledge of Mac OSX and PC computing platforms
· Excellent written and oral communication
