DESCRIPTION

Amazon's cloud computing arm - Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a secure cloud services platform, offering compute power, database storage, content delivery and other functionality to help businesses scale and grow.

We're looking for a self-directed, motivated, and structured operations intern to join our regional Asia Pacific & Japan (APJ) marketing team. He/she must be passionate about supporting processes, working with systems, and creating reports for the organization as we grow our business and expand our product mix.

The ideal candidate is data-oriented, a systematic and analytical thinker. The successful candidate must be able to roll-up their sleeves, dive deep into unclearly defined spaces, and instil proper levels of structure and control. They will be passionate about their work, detail-oriented, analytical, results-driven and have excellent problem-solving abilities.

Roles & Responsibilities:
· Ownership of the marketing calendar for APAC Marketing to ensure visibility across all stakeholders
· Establish best practices for all ops matters, develop formalized documentation and processes
· Manage dashboards and reports in order to measure all aspects of the business including database cleanliness, campaign effectiveness, pipeline contribution and overall business performance
· Deliver measurement and reporting of all key business metrics and goals across all marketing stakeholders
· Provide ongoing metrics and reports to support marketing campaign effectiveness and ROI
· Conduct regular marketing operations and campaign reviews in order to align marketing strategy with tactics and to ensure effective execution of marketing strategy, and drive follow-up actions for improvement to ROI
· Construct key marketing reporting mechanisms, including dashboards, reports and funnel metrics
· Drive operational cadence, including weekly WIP meetings, Quarterly Marketing Review (QMR) and Quarterly Business Review (QBR) preparation
· Manage, enhance and optimize the end-to-end lead management process in conjunction with sales and marketing stakeholders – including lead scoring, upload, reporting and performance management
· Prepare presentations and materials for marketing team's leadership review
· Support the marketing team in all campaign activities & administrative tasks

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· High level of competency in Excel
· A professional drive with strong desire to learn
· Takes initiative. Doesn't wait to be asked. Plans efficiently while avoiding analysis paralysis and willingness to go above and beyond when needed
· Strong analytical skills and experience with campaign reporting and data analysis
· Must have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize in a fast changing environment
