Amazon EU's Kindle Content Store is looking for an enthusiastic and innovative Marketing Intern to help expand our business and create innovative customer experiences.

The successful candidate will have a passion for books, a deep understanding of the current literary landscape, and a strong background in developing and executing compelling and seamless customer experiences. Candidates must be successful both as individual contributors and working in a team environment, and must be obsessed with serving the customer.

The Marketing Intern will identify key opportunities to innovate processes and the customer experience for two strategic areas of the business, become the subject matter expert within these areas, identify and create best practices to roll out to all EU Kindle teams and collaborate closely with business and technical stakeholders.

We operate in a fast-paced environment and require someone with initiative who can meet deadlines, while remaining flexible, detail-oriented, and innovative.

In this position, candidates will:
· Coordinate and execute the setup of strategic promotions and third-party deals
· Work closely with the Site Merchandising and Project Management teams to ensure a best-in-class customer experience
· Identify opportunities to improve existing processes and share best practices with EU & US teams
· Ad hoc projects that support the growth of the EU Kindle Content business

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Currently enrolled or graduated in Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
· Currently enrolled in an educational program at bachelor or master level which includes a 6 month internship (you would be expected to go back to university following your internship)
· Relevant work experience in online or digital marketing
· Ability to identify opportunities, create new processes and get buy-in from others
· Keen attention to detail
· Customer-obsessed
