Come join our trade marketing team and help define the course the revolutionary Amazon Echo products, Fire TV, Kindle e-readers, and Fire tablets. They offer the best experience for reading ebooks, enjoying entertainment services like Amazon Instant Video, or listening to music with your Echo and so much more.

We are looking for a smart, results-oriented Marketing Intern to develop and grow our Point-of-sale (POS) in our offline channels. A successful candidate will be expected to think and act both strategically and tactically. He or she will be creative, analytical, customer centric, resourceful, team oriented, an effective communicator, and will have an ability to work independently under time constraints to meet ongoing and overlapping deadlines. You will focus on developing and implementing our retailer approach to marketing Echo and Alexa products by working with our retail and agency partners. We will also look for you to analyze the metrics to ensure the work is effective and what levers we have to influence greater sales and conversion.

The position is based in the Amazon offices in London UK.

Roles and Responsibilities:

· Run Amazon Devices projects across Europe and work with a cross-functional team of business, marketing, technology, business intelligence, design and operations managers;
· Support the UK Amazon Devices Retail team and work directly with the Channel Marketing Managers and Account Management to develop and execute new POS and online solutions;
· Work on a Pan European team ensuring best-in-class executions are recognized and help share best practices across countries;
· Collaborate with our external field teams to ensure optimal execution through the retail outlets with store checks;
· Work with our external agencies and internal designers to develop new materials and creatives as well as ensure that the amazon style guidelines are met;
· Analyse the results of "point of sale" activities in the different offline channels and derive a clear ROI message, including helping to drive our promotional pricing processes;
· Own analytics projects that ensure we continually improve our understanding of our customers and retail partners, helping to drive constant improvements in our data driven approach to the business;
· Have the obsession to drive a better customer experience through everything that we do here at Amazon.

Desired profile



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's degree;
· Understanding of marketing in the online and offline sphere (point of sale materials, OOH and print advertising);
· Be comfortable in getting hands dirty in day-to-day tasks to get things done;
· Previous intern or work experience.
