DESCRIPTION

As we rapidly grow our business, Amazon Web Services () executive recruiting team is seeking an experienced Market Intelligence & Research Analyst (MI&RA) to gather, analyze and visualize market data on EMEA region. They will be analytical and possess a strong passion for developing insights, setting up analysis, and providing mission critical information that drives a dynamic and fast-growing business. Successful candidate will also utilize a range of skills to help the business scale by identifying and recruiting the best talent for organization (including research and creating talent mapping strategies).

Market Intelligence & Research Analyst should have the ability to think strategically, act tactically, present data effectively and display strong analytical and critical thinking skills. They will have excellent communication skills in order to be able to partner with executive recruiting team, Diversity Intelligence & Channel Enablement (DICE) team and senior business leaders. This is a fast paced role with a fun and exciting, global team.

Core responsibilities:
· Gathering and presenting data on key markets, companies, and industries using different research and visualization tools
· Leading special research projects/recruiting initiatives
· Partnering with executive recruiting team to build effective passive candidate sourcing strategies
· Conducting research to map markets and generate new candidate names and profiles
· Collecting information about competitors, top startups, major deals and market trends
· Building detailed market reports & analysis for executive recruiters and business leaders
· Calibrating candidates with hiring managers and recruiters
· Continually contributing to the knowledge base of the group by providing education on industries and talent pools/profiles
· Participating in client update meetings on active searches
· Providing strategic guidance and advice in a true partnership with executive leadership
To be successful, you will need to leverage lessons learned in executive recruiting with either an in-house executive search team for blue-chip, global firms, preferably in the technology industry, or as an Associate/ Knowledge Analyst in a large retained executive search company or a search boutique.

You will need to exhibit the following traits:
· Ability to effectively create accurate market analysis, search and talent mapping strategies

· Ability to work independently and follow through on assignments with minimal direction
· Ability to work under tight time constraints
· Highly articulate, able to convey complex arguments and engage with senior level executives in a polished and professional manner

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Strong prior work experience in a market intelligence/ research analyst role
· Understanding the executive recruiting process
· Exceptional market research/ executive sourcing and assessing skills
· Experience in working on senior leadership roles across different countries, sectors and functions
· Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
· Bachelor's degree
