DESCRIPTION

The AWS Security Awareness team supports the AWS network with programs to increase cloud security awareness and proficiency. As a critical member of that team, the Learning Technologist will ensure that our learning infrastructure and deployment mechanisms meet customer needs, supports operational efficiency, automate it where possible, and can scale with the future growth of our business. The Learning Technologist will work closely with other members of the team and Technology teams to create a thoughtful, holistic approach to assessing, prioritizing, and evaluating system requirements.

Specific job responsibilities include:
· Create a comprehensive learning technology strategy and roadmap; gain buy-in and drive adoption of the strategy for internal and external customers
· Automating compliance training activities
· Assess the value and impact of new learning technologies or systems appropriate to compliance learning, training and support needs
· Maximize innovation and potential within the awareness framework, by promoting the use of appropriate and effective technology
· Provide technical advice and guidance on the integration of technology into training
· Identify and pursue opportunities for organizational efficiency by strategically partnering with colleagues across the company and external partners
· Manage all legal and information security reviews and evaluations for new and proposed technologies
· Partner with Technology teams and stakeholders on cross-system integration of data through APIs or other means
· Manage projects and processes in an entrepreneurial environment requiring strong multi-tasking abilities
· Communicate effectively to stakeholders

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Basic Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, technology, or related learning field experience
· 3+ years of instructional design, technical training, or compliance training
· 3+ years of application of adult learning theories and UI/UX design best practices
· 3+ years experience ADDIE, SAM or other course development models
