DESCRIPTION

The AmazonFresh and Prime Now teams are hiring an Instock Manager to help drive an excellent customer experience by optimizing existing business functions and inventing solutions for previously unsolved problems. The Instock Manager excels at querying and analyzing data to dive deep, invents and simplifies to solve complex problems, and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves to deliver results.

The Instock Manager will demonstrate strong ownership of the supply chain and inventory management for their categories within the Amazon Fresh and Prime Now businesses. They are responsible for delivering results on a continuous basis, and also for creating new processes to continually improve on these results. They will collaborate cross-functionally with vendors, operations, marketing, tech teams, and other functions to execute on these goals.

Specific responsibilities include:
• Manage inventory availability and inventory health including improved in-stock, turns, vendor operational improvement (efficiency, fill rates, lead time), forecasting, and shrink
• Drive strategic initiatives to improve customer experience, enable new capabilities, and reduce waste
• Answer complex business questions and make decisions by querying and analyzing large data sets
• Work with internal teams to build automated tools and process improvements that will drive scale and reduce error

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree
• 2+ years experience in general management, consulting, operations, project management, IT, retail, consulting and/or finance
• Proficiency in SQL and Excel
