DESCRIPTION

Amazon.co.jp is seeking a innovative and data-oriented HR Business Partner (HRBP) to drive the development and implementation of the HR initiatives, working closely with Amazon’s fast growing business teams in Tokyo headquarters.

The primary role will be to partner with managers and HR team to develop and execute HR initiatives, support business leaders/ managers and employees, lead the initiatives as a project managers, etc. This role will require to work across multiple client groups within Japan and with global counterparts including running talent management cycle, deploying career and skill development actions, helping and tracking workforce planning, employee engagement and manager capability enhancement.

Key Responsibilities:
· Partner with front line managers, HR team to solve employee/ manager cases effectively
· Provide management coaching to front line managers and senior leaders.
· Regularly investigate the current process and metrics and improve the process and guidance for better employee experience
· Lead HR projects and key initiatives with global / local HR teams
· Work with line managers and employees to address all types of employee relations issues, fairly representing all interests
· Diagnose problems and identify and drive appropriate solutions in the long term. Act as a role model to foster our dynamic and inclusive culture

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Comfortable working on data and/or process to find a root cause, monitor progress and assess the effectiveness of the actions
· Capability to handle data, conducting analysis based on data (qualitative and quantitative) and making proposal for solution
· Experience working in a high-tech, fast paced, entrepreneurial environment requiring strong project management abilities.

Desired profile



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Candidate should have at least 5+ years of experience in an HR business partner and/or generalist role or program management with broad knowledge and experience in human resource management.
· Ability to deal with ambiguous situations and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
· Excellent communication, coaching, strategic thinking abilities, planning/project management skills and presentation skills.
· University graduate
· Fluent in both Japanese and English (both writing and speaking).
