We're looking for an outstanding Flight Dynamics Engineer who combines superb technical, research and analytical capabilities with a demonstrated ability to get the right things done quickly and effectively. This person must be comfortable working with a team of top-notch engineers and collaborating with our research teams.

As the system-level engineer, you will interface and collaborate with aerodynamics and performance engineers, flight control engineers and flight test engineers. The ideal candidate will have fundamental knowledge of flight physics/mechanics with practical real-life implementation experience.

Export Control License
This position may require a deemed export control license for compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Placement is contingent on Amazon's ability to apply for and obtain an export control license on your behalf.

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university
· Experience with aerodynamics and simulation
· Ability to model and understand physics-based dynamics
· Proficiency in at least one modern programming language
· Strong mathematical/statistical fundamentals
· Excellent problem-solving ability
· Understanding of airworthiness regulations and the aircraft certification process
