We are looking for a Firmware Engineer to support the development of propulsion hardware & related systems. In this role you will be working to develop and mature embedded firmware. The ideal candidate will help the team in the following ways:
1. Develop firmware and related systems
2. Mature prototype firmware and improve firmware robustness
3. Work closely with hardware developers to bring up new hardware
4. Innovate to further optimize performance.
5. Find create technical approaches to encourage frugality and to invent and simplify

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, EE, Robotics or related field
· Must have experience developing embedded firmware
· Must have experience testing and validating firmware
· Proficiency in C and/or C++ a requirement
· Knowledge of software/hardware engineering practices & patterns including design reviews, coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing
