Do you have the business savvy, technical background, and sales skills necessary to help position Amazon as the cloud provider of choice for Windows Server solutions? As a member of the worldwide leader for this fast growing, exciting space you will have the opportunity to help drive the growth and shape the future of a service category that will have a significant impact on our customers global computing model. This Sales Leader, Microsoft Platform role has regional responsibility and is part of a Global Specialist Sales Organization established to position AWS as the best place to host Windows based production workloads.

As part of a single-threaded sales team focusing on the Microsoft platform running on AWS, you will be responsible for working with large enterprise customers and their existing account teams to qualify and pursue sales opportunities for enterprise application workloads and datacenter migration projects. Your sales region will consist of multiple existing territories and segments with existing customers and account teams. You will engage with our segment sales, solutions architects, partner and professional services organizations to drive large and highly complex opportunities to closure. These opportunities will include migrating LOB Apps powered by SQL Server and corporate apps such as Exchange, SharePoint or SAP to the AWS cloud. Your commitments will include quota accountability, driving platform adoption, market penetration in new and existing enterprise accounts as well as creating public references.

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Manage and maintain a robust and accurate sales pipeline of opportunities.
· Drive revenue and market share for AWS EC2 Windows.
· Meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
· Extensive experience selling Microsoft solutions to large, global enterprises.
· Proven ability to dive deep on Microsoft Server Technology, Licensing, and moving enterprise workloads to the cloud.
· Develop and execute against a comprehensive territory focused sales plan.
· Accelerate customer adoption of Microsoft Windows, SQL Server, Exchange, SharePoint, Lync, or custom .Net Applications running on AWS.
· Manage the end to end sales process through engagement of appropriate resources such as Solutions Architects, Professional Services, Executives and Partners.
· Work with partners and OEM's to extend reach & drive adoption of AWS EC2 Windows solutions.
· Manage contract negotiations along with the core sales organization.
· Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts.
· Be Customer Obsessed Ensure customer satisfaction.
· Expect moderate travel.
