The Role:
As a Systems Engineer, you will work with an experienced cross-disciplinary team to bring to market innovative consumer electronics products. Your responsibilities will include developing tools to automate the deployment, management and monitoring of our cloud infrastructure. You will own the deployment, operation and scaling out of our always-on distributed system that serves Ring customers worldwide.

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 5+ years of industry experience, including 2+ years in a System Engineering or DevOps role
· Expertise in Linux systems administration
· Experience writing Infrastructure-as-Code e.g. using CloudFormation and terraform
· Programming/scripting with one or more of the following: Python, Ruby, Groovy, Java, Go
· Experience with one or more DevOps, Orchestration/Configuration Management and Continuous Integration technology e.g. Chef, Puppet, Docker, Jenkins, Ansible etc.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
