This involves ensuring for all the products that are sold on Amazon marketplaces worldwide, customers get the best price. Data engineering team - a part of pricing Big Data team - is responsible for building and maintaining the data platform that helps Amazon businesses worldwide in maintaining price competitiveness. By collating and transforming large amount of data from various sources, exposing pricing gaps via dashboards and reports and providing ability to deep dive and extract insights, data engineering team helps in improving operational efficiency and meeting business goals around pricing.

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 3 -5 years of total experience in building DW/BI systems
· At least 3 years of experience in end-to-end design and implementation of large scale DW/BI systems
· Deep understanding of Kimball design methodologies
· Expertise in ETL involving large data sets
· Expertise in at least one RDBMS (Redshift)
· Knowledge of at least one OLAP tool
· Proficiency in writing and debugging complex SQLs
· Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent
