The Role:

Ideal candidate is a results-driven, deeply technical, and highly innovative software development engineer with the affinity to seek and solve challenging problems of scale in distributed systems, big data, cloud analytics, machine learning and automation, aiming to intelligently improve the customer experience across all amazon device families.

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent and 3+ years of experience in:
· RESTful large scale distributed systems with high scalability and availability requirements.
· Enterprise Java using Spring MVC/Boot and/or Python using Django/Flask, JavaScript, Shell scripting, Angular Framework
· Data Modelling for SQL and NoSQL database systems, ORM Frameworks such as Hibernate, SQL Alchemy, etc.
· Data Visualization using frameworks such as high charts, d3.js, etc.
· Performance optimization by caching using in-memory data stores such as Redis.
· Cloud scale systems design, Test driven development and continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD).
· Deployed Dockerized applications using orchestration tools such as k8s, EC2 Container Service (ECS).
· Enterprise application design based on SOA, Micro-services.
· Developing reusable and easily maintainable software as per S.O.L.I.D principles.
· Communicating complex technical ideas to technical and non-technical audiences
A master's degree in computer science or equivalent may be substituted for 3 years of experience
