Software Developer - Amazon Web Services - Seattle, Washington.

We are rapidly expanding the AWS Application Discovery Service in the Amazon Web Service (AWS) Development Center located in downtown Seattle, WA and are seeking a talented and passionate Software Development Engineer with experience shipping C++-based systems software on Windows and Linux platforms.

As a Software Engineer in this team, you will design and build data collection agents for a new service that will accelerate help large, enterprise companies migrate their computing to AWS. Delivering a reliable, secure, and high-performance data collection agent for deployment to millions of systems requires engineers with extraordinary technical expertise and boundless creativity. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Basic Qualifications:
· BS degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
· 3+ years professional experience in commercial or web-scale system software development and delivery
· Understanding of operating system fundamentals (Linux or Windows)
· Understanding of scalable computing systems, software architecture, data structures, and algorithms
· Knowledge of distributed, asynchronous and concurrent programming
