Prime Video is changing the way people watch movies and TV shows, offering more than 150,000 new release movies, next-day television shows, and classic favorites available to rent or purchase on demand, and more than 38,000 titles available to customers with an Amazon Prime membership. We are seeking an especially talented analyst to support business teams with insights and reporting in our growing Digital Video business. In this role you will be a strategic thinker with the ability to understand business strategy, provide consultative business analysis, and demonstrate technical aptitude to create insightful and effective reporting. You should have a passion to dive deep, a high level of customer focus and a track record in process improvement. You should have technical skills, project management skills and the ability to multi-task and thrive in an energizing environment.

Business Intelligence Engineer duties & responsibilities will include:
· Define and deliver reporting that supports the analytical needs of internal business leaders.
· Use analytical insights to help increase teams effectiveness against key strategic goals.
· Define process to help handle KPIs for the organization and provide an environment where key trends are recognized and acted-upon proactively.
· Serve as business lead for the internal reporting. Provide business requirements across all business reports.
· Ensure clear communication and coordination across the business, finance and technical teams.
· Quickly build a thorough understanding of the Digital Video industry, its seasonality and global business trends and continually monitor the impact of important industry developments.

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's or advanced degree.
· Experience in data mining (SQL, ETL, data warehouse, etc.) and using databases in a business environment with big data technologies and large-scale, complex datasets.
· Experience in complex data analysis (model creation, what-if scenarios, A/B testing, etc.)
· Proven ability to solve complex quantitative business challenges
· Verbal/written communication & data presentation skills, including experience to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams.
