The Capacity Planning Team provides AMZL with cost-optimal and flexible capacity solutions for in-station operations, year-round and enabling the business to scale for seasonal peak demand increases.

This role is based out of London corporate office. The ideal candidate is passionate about leveraging data to deliver actionable insights that impact daily business, has a solid record of delivery and experienced in improving execution in a cross-functional environment, backed by analysis and data. They thrive in an ever-growing environment, relishes working with large transactional volumes and big data and enjoys the opportunity of highly complex, and sometimes ambiguous, business context.

As a Business Analyst in the Capacity Planning Team, you will be running the weekly cadence labour plans, to make sure the organization is well prepared for the future. You will evaluate executional gaps to improve future planning. You will work cross-functionally to ensure that decisions are made and actioned, which will allow our operations to run as effectively as possible. You will address the unknown and direct improvements into key areas of our business.

A suitable candidate knows and loves working with business intelligence tools, is comfortable accessing and working with big data from multiple sources, and enthusiastic about partnering with the business to deliver results. You should have an internal motivation to question the status quo, great investigative skills, solid technical skills as well as great written and verbal communication skills. You would be a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity, able to think big and enjoy working in a fast paced environment.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's degree
· Proficient in MS Excel
· Fluent in SQL
· Experience working with data warehouse
· Experience cross functionally
· Experience in complex problem solving, root cause analysis in a business environment
· Professional written and verbal communication skills
