The Team: We're an agile, independent team working to build a brand new AWS product. We need developers who are capable of breaking down and solving complex problems. This team will have the opportunity to work on highly visible projects that directly impact hundreds of other teams at Amazon.

Position may be located in either Herndon, VA 20170 or Seattle, WA 98101. Relocation assistance would be offered (pending qualification guidelines).

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
· 2+ years professional experience in commercial/large scale system software development and delivery.
· 2+ years professional experience in object-oriented design and implementation skills (Ruby, Java, and/or C++), preferably on Linux.
· 1+ years experience developing prototypes at the right level of fidelity for each phase of development, from startup through launch and beyond.
