AWS is home to the largest Salesforce.com (SFDC) instance at Amazon and we are looking for an experienced Security Program owner to ensure our SFDC system, applications, and data is designed and implemented to the highest security standards. This role will lead a new focused program for the AWS Salesforce team dedicated to the trust, transparency, compliance and security governance of SFDC. You will be a security thought leader for the organization, responsible for the security of SFDC, discovering and addressing security issues, building processes and automation, and quickly solving new security challenges.

The successful candidate must be a self-starter, be able to manage a complex security program, own deliverables end to end, prioritize workload effectively, and thrive in a dynamic environment. This individual should have a deep understanding of Salesforce security architecture and capabilities for which they are a sought out resource (within AWS and by groups throughout Amazon), while having an understanding of the application of information security in a broad range of technical areas. The right candidate must exhibit the ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience, foster constructive dialogue, and influence resolution when confronted with discordant views. Forging strong relationships with security professionals across Amazon will be key to implementation, management, and the overall success of this candidate's program.

Key Responsibilities
· Ownership of all security aspects of Salesforce.com, including user access, permissions, multi-factor authentication, transaction security, encryption, and more
· Partner with AWS and Amazon security teams to ensure system compliance (single sign on, data handling, regional visibility compliance)
· Collaborate on, author, and approve security requirements for new projects, deployments, and integrations
· Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints
· Collaborate with internal teams effectively, and seek to understand user experience and stakeholder perspective on processes impacted by security policies
· Proactively identify and implement operational security improvements, enhancements, and system customizations to mitigate security risk
· Evangelize security within AWS Salesforce and be an advocate for customer trust

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's degree
· Certified Salesforce.com Advanced Administrator (ADM-211 or ADM-301) or equivalent experience
· 3+ years' experience implementing and configuring Salesforce.com for 300+ users
· 3+ years' program management or technical program management experience
· Proven experience implementing Salesforce.com security architecture
· In-depth understanding of the capabilities and constraints of the SFDC CRM application
· Strong business analysis and functional experience, including requirements gathering, creating/deploying solutions to end users
· Proven ability to build effective partnerships with business owners and technical partners
