This position can be located virtually or at an Amazon office within the contiguous United States.

The Account Executive, End User Computing role has regional responsibility and is part of an AWS World Wide Public Sector Organization established to position AWS as the best platform for end user virtual desktops, applications, and content. This position focuses on our customers in Education and State and Local Government.

As part of a single-threaded sales team focusing on End User Computing solutions on AWS, you will be responsible for working with large strategic WWPS customers and their existing account teams to qualify and pursue sales opportunities for virtual desktops, app streaming, and enterprise content and collaboration. You will engage with our segment sales, solutions architects, partner and professional services organizations to drive large opportunities to closure. These opportunities will include migrating Windows and Linux based desktop and application workloads to the AWS cloud. Your commitments will include quota accountability, driving platform adoption within WWPS accounts, as well as creating public references. This is a hands-on, detail-oriented, “roll-up your sleeves” environment and requires a passion for innovation, ability to deal with ambiguity as well as an ability to scale and influence broadly.

Responsibilities
· Drive revenue and market share for AWS.
· Maintain a robust sales pipeline.
· Work with internal and external partners to extend reach and drive adoption of AWS solutions.
· Manage contract negotiations along with the core sales organization.
· Ensure customer satisfaction.
Travel expectations: 30-50% with in the US.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical degree.
· Experience with data center migrations
· Solid organizational, presentation, and writing skills.
· Meets/exceeds Amazon’s leadership principles requirements for this role.
· Meets/exceeds Amazon’s functional/technical depth and complexity.

For employees based in Colorado, this position starts at $110,900.00 a year. A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 5+ years of enterprise sales or business development experience with quota accountability and a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets year over year.
· 3+ years’ experience working directly with large, enterprise accounts, bringing established client and channel relationships
· 2+ years' experience selling technology solutions in the Public Sector.
· 2+ years' experience selling End User Computing technologies.
