Job Overview:
As a 1st Shift Manufacturing Supervisor at Amazon Robotics (AR), you will lead a team of electro-mechanical assemblers in the manufacture and test of various AR products. The company has a set of complex products that requires a detail oriented, organized, and high-energy individual to coordinate daily production requirements. A successful candidate for this position will be a self-managing, action-oriented individual focused on developing a high performing team while delivering business results.

Principle Job Requirements:
· Oversee daily execution of manufacturing team in delivering daily requirements with focus on safety and quality.
· Drive efficiency and quality through process-focused approaches, process improvement initiatives, and root cause / corrective action exercises.
· Manage, grow and develop a team of high-performing production personnel while promoting a culture of inclusion, innovation, safety, and top performance.
· Develop and manage to goals and critical metrics to ensure business success.
· Lead and implement critical initiatives across the production team.
· Work effectively across functions with matters involving Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, EHS, Finance, etc.
· Conduct employee reviews, hiring, and all disciplinary and employee-development functions for reporting team.

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's degree
· Management experience in a manufacturing environment
· Demonstrated leadership, interpersonal and team building skills
· Well versed in Lean Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement principles & techniques, as well as other best-in-class manufacturing processes and practices
· Demonstrated strength in areas of communication, planning and organizational skills
· Strong commitment to safety and quality
