Business environment

The PRF team (Application Performance & Tuning group’s) responsibility is to ensure production long-term stability and scalability for Amadeus products

Purpose

Develop, execute and maintain identified performance tests (load tests, stress tests, scalability tests …) and monitor statistics as CPU, Response Time, Memory consumption …, with the aim of keeping the software performances at expected quality level. Identify bottlenecks and make recommendation for enhancing performances.

Work on different projects as Service Virtualization, ACS (Amadeus Cloud Service), Apache…

Beforehand, help clients to define performance testing objectives and requirements

Key accountabilities

Implement performance test strategy for their area, in compliance with the global test strategy

* Responsible for the project, product or release performance quality control

* Define, design, develop and execute automated test scripts and test scenarii

* Prepare test environment, test data and build the workload model

* Provide go/no-go for their test campaign and for the load of Production PTRs

* Investigate performance results to identify bottlenecks and make recommendation for enhancing performances

* Responsible for reporting and communicating on test activities to the line organization, software developers and product definitions

* Participate to processes evolution, testing automation and evolution for new products, architecture and technologies

* May act as a Performance Test Architect and/or Performance Test Consultant in some cases
