Purpose

This is a Centrally based matrix role dedicated to supporting and provisioning local market sales activity as well as Global account relationships, through the engineering of solutions and services that maximize technical process or IT solutions supporting Amadeus' hotel business development and growth strategy. The role facilitates the maximization of revenue generating hospitality turnkey solutions for booking methods, practices and solutions through Amadeus owned, recognized or supported product and service solutions.

K ey responsibilities:

Support the global and local account managers leading the bid team: for compiling the bid response.
Complete technical requirements and product requirements sections.
Work with delivery teams to develop implementation plans.
Assist the account managers to establish the IT commercial proposal.

Providing specialized solution & IT sales support: Assist the Amadeus account management & consulting teams to sell the Amadeus Hotel product & services in all phases of the sales cycle from RFI & RFP responses through commercial and legal negotiations.
Assess functional and business requirements with customers for the Amadeus points of sale and APIs.
Build solution proposals based on Amadeus assets and identify potential modifications to existing Amadeus Solutions or necessary 3rd party integration.
Support account managers and sales managers to deliver on-site product presentations and demonstrations.
Assist sales managers during “hands-on” customer product testing and piloting.

Solution feedback & evolution: provide feedback and recommendations to product managements & strategy team for the future evolution of the hotel product & service portfolio.

Desired skills and experience

· Education: Technical, Computing or IT Degree/Diploma. Business knowledge is a plus.
· Ideally 3 - 5 years Pre-Sales, Product Management or Implementation in onsite customer environments with experience in technical sales solutions and service delivery.
· Technically, IT and computer literate, skilled at understanding interfaces, and development of technical solutions to accommodate customer solutions. Ability to project manage according to delivery dates. Presentation skills to support on-site product presentations and demonstrations.
· Language: English essential, secondary languages a bonus - French, Spanish, Germany, etc.
· Computing: Project Management software, Microsoft Office, technical/software development, Web Services.
· Job specific competencies: Negotiation, Planning, Presentation,Project Implementation, Analytical and Conceptual thinking, some technical expertise.
