The internship will take place in the core reservation and ticketing (CBT) division. Within this division, Amadeus launched a new transversal product targeting leisure airlines managing tour operator bookings called Amadeus Leisure Carrier Solution. This product allows airlines to seamlessly integrate tour operator bookings in a single inventory as well as provide full services to tour operated travelers. It encompasses airlines inventory, reservation and ticketing systems. You will be a part of a team managing transversal products for the core reservation and ticketing platform.

'Amadeus Leisure Carrier Solution' provides a full set of features to enable airlines better managing their tour operator sales: it includes allotment management in inventory, tour operator booking counts, dynamic ancillary services offering and ‘passenger name list’ reconciliation. The aim of this internship is to analyze all data produced by the product “Amadeus Leisure Carrier Solution”, extract automatically valuable information and develop/deploy a graphical user interface to display them. More than 70 tour operators contract allotments with leisure airlines. They are sending booking figures and passenger name list. Airlines sell services directly to the tour operated travelers. The internship aims at getting a better understanding of the tour operators channel to serve more efficiently airlines’ needs.

Main activities:

The trainee will participate in following activities:

- Understand tour operator and airlines businesses as well as Amadeus Leisure Carrier Solution

- Analyze data generated by the product and identify a set of key metrics

- Help the team to collect all data through different sources and applications

- Process data to generate valuable information

- Help the team to deploy an user interface (UI) prototype allowing the visualization of information through dashboards

The outcome of this internship will be key to report precise information on current tour operators’ bookings as well as providing input for product evolutions. You should learn:

- Amadeus business, especially the features offered by 'Amadeus Leisure Carrier Solution'

- Big data analytics

- Business intelligence application - development and integration in a professional IT service delivery of an analytic tool.
