You will go on a steep learning curve quickly and will be involved in live projects from day 1. Not only learning, we have fun too! We have regular Hackathons, “Bash Days” where the entire R&D business down tools to fix as many outstanding bugs as possible, plus 2 company events a year.

We offer a comprehensive package too with the Basic Salary starting at £34,000 per year.

Here are some of the responsibilities you will have:

Technical Function

· Develops skills in fundamental technical theories, procedures and practices and the ability to apply them in their immediate technical skill area.
· Uses existing, clearly defined procedures to solve routine problems.
· Produces code, problem investigations, support or testing within timescales and standards defined by Team Leader or Project Leader.
· Writes operational and software documentation necessary for the application.
· Start building an understanding of the system architecture to put work into context and build the big picture of the system, within the horizons of Amadeus.
· Able to solve or propose fundamental and complex IT solutions within their immediate technical field.

Business Knowledge

· Builds an understanding of the relationships between work processes and the business.

Procedural Knowledge

· Gains an appreciation of the standards of work required, project life cycle and Amadeus methodologies.

Working with Others

· Works cooperatively with others to achieve team goals.
· Builds stable and useful working relationships.

Skills Development

· Attends and achieves required standards in classroom training.
· Achieves agreed development milestones with regard to on the job training.
· Asks questions, checks for understanding and provides clear and precise explanations.

Key Skills required:

· 2:1 or higher within Computer Science or Maths (but must have a keen interest in programming)
· A Level requirement BBB and above (or equivalent if international)
· Demonstrated familiarity with different programming techniques and Object oriented languages (more specifically, UML and C++ OO)
· End to end project experience including, all phases of the development cycle and specific demonstrated interest and innovation on some concept, coding method and design techniques.
