Team Description

Amadeus Customer Service (ACS) mission is 'Helping Amadeus Customers succeed!”. Our vision is 'To provide the best customer service experience, in our customers' eyes'. In a nutshell, ACS develops and delivers a wide range of learning, support and content management and security services to meet the needs of customers.

Within ACS, Online & Solutions (OLS) is responsible for providing technical service and support to our overall strategy. We manage and develop online products needed by our customers, to contribute towards their satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Main Responsibilities

One of the responsibility of our team is Amadeus eSupport Centre portal. This is an online web portal and knowledge base providing 24/7 access to a wide range of learning and support information and tools.

·  Search all site content using the quick single search function
·  Access self-service support tools
·  View real time latest news

Currently, we are in a transformation project to migrate this portal to a more modern and to an open source solution (aka Amadeus Service Hub) based on Liferay Portal. We are developing following Agile methodology and one part of the team is a remote one (Bangalore, India).

We are looking for a Java Software Developer to be an integral part of our Scrum Team in order to implement all requirements agreed with Product Owners.

Main responsibilities will be:

·  Study of the new requirements and fit them with Liferay native capabilities
·  Customization of Liferay native capabilities
·  Development of new feature using J2EE
·  Functional and technical documentation

Requirements

·  Fluent English
·  Good knowledge on Java
·  Good knowledge on Liferay
·  Interested in designing and implementing web applications and GUIs
·  Good communication skills

Like to work in a team (also with remote team)
