Team Description

The Solution Strategy team collaborates with Top Management, Business Units and Corporate Functions to define Amadeus Strategy

The Solution Strategy team is organized as a pool of internal consultants working mainly in project mode, and covers several types of studies: business, products & services, markets, methods and processes

M ain Responsibilities

The intern/apprentice will participate to the definition of Amadeus’ Merchandising & Retailing strategy for the travel industry (~ how to optimize profitability by selling the right product, to the right customer, at the right price, at the right moment)

Some concrete example of skills the intern/apprentice will develop working with our team:

- analyse markets evolution and competitive landscapes (IT firms, Travel players, Google…),

- benchmark best practices demonstrated in industries beyond travel,

- forecast future trends and build the matching product & services vision,

- assess and optimize time-to-market in collaboration with Product Managers and R&D,

- analyse products efficiency & profitability

Requirements

The candidate should be fluent in English, able to clearly structure his/her reasoning, leveraging strong analytical skills, and effectively communicate his/her findings to the team

For analytical and written communication purposes, good knowledge of Excel and Powerpoint is strongly recommended

A previous experience in Strategy Consulting / Corporate Strategy would be highly regarded
